Today was stake conference and our good friend the Millers and our bishop were speaking. Man, I was so nervous for them. My heart was pounding out of my chest. The Millers gave good talk about provident living and living within our means. The Millers are a good example of that. Recently, their little Toyota Celica made it to 250,000 miles on the engine. Our bishop (Bishop Carmack) talked about how we can strengthen our testimonies by attending church for all 3 hours. That's right, I go to church for 3 hours but I look forward to it every week. After Stake Conference, we had choir practice at the Russell's house.
While waiting for this baby to arrive, I am helping Ron out on a paper about fuel cells.

Date Night Friday
Ron and I had are weekly date night. We went to a chinese buffet and I couldn't eat a lot because of the baby on my organs. Then afterward we went to Overland Park Cinemas to watch UP. That is a good movie if you haven't seen it. Before we saw the movie though, we went explore down the plaza to see if anything exciting was available. We went to All About Games to see if there were any games that we were interested in. There were a lot. They all cost $30 or more though. Tell you what, that place is geek central. After that store we went to Rediscovered Books. It is a quaint little bookstore with a nice atmosphere. I felt a strong impression to ask about local authors and how an author can sell there books in the store. I got to talking with the clerk and she refered me to the owner and when the owner walked out, Ron took over the conversation with her. She is a down to earth lady. I was happy to hand over the tourch to Ron since he was talking about his book. They got to talking and the owner decided to go ahead and see if anyone would by the book. So on Tuesday, we are going to drop off a book and see where it goes.

Crazy Day
Ron and I started out the day with a plan to get stuff to paint the baby's room. We went to Lowe's and realize how much paint costs. Afterward, we got a phone call from the Miller's saying they wouldn't be at the Pie and Tie because they just had their adorable baby girl May Katherine Miller.
So we went to the to our ward's Pie and Tie and had a blast. Afterward, we went to the hospital to visit the Miller family and enjoyed each others company and give them some well deserve pie for a job well done. When we left the hospital. Ron and I found a baby yellow belly sparrow on the ground. It must of fallen off his nest to practice flying. Instead of leaving him alone. Ron insisted on taking him home with us. I was against this but then I was convinced that the animal rescue would be closed so now he is home with us. Ron calls him squirt. We will call animal rescue first then in the morning.

Baby Tracker
I have kept seeing this baby tracker at all my friends' blog and I thought I should steal the idea and at it to my blog. I am way excited for this 4th of July. Ron and I are going camping with his family at Baumgardener. Still keeping busy at work. Ron is doing a take home test right now. He finally got up to date with the times and he is on Facebook. Why don't I have a facebook page you might ask? I don't know. I figure this is good enough.

First Day!
Wow, I can't believe we are actually doing this. This is are first blog. Usually Ron and I are busy doing other things that we hardly have time for the computer.
This week has been pretty busy. Ron is in school, taking classes to become a Mechanical Engineer. What he really wants to be is a creator of games and inventor. He currently has a book out called The Paintballer's Almanac which is a book about paintball games.
Wanda is the current financial provider for the family working at the The Tax Commission for the man. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with our first child and we just found out that we are having a boy. We are very excited.
